NATO Boosts Defenses With Second Patriot Deployment to Turkey

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is deploying a second Patriot missile-defense system to Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base to bolster the alliance’s air defenses against threats from Iran.

The system will be deployed “alongside the existing Spanish Patriot system already stationed” at the base, the state-run Anadolu Agency cited a Defense Ministry spokesperson as saying on Wednesday.
