Senegal has been stripped of its African Cup of Nations title after the tournament’s governing body ruled the team forfeited the final by walking off the pitch.

The Confederation of African Football’s appeal board handed the victory to Morocco, two months after one of its most contentious finals, CAF said in a statement late Tuesday.
