After a near four-year hiatus, K-pop megastars BTS are back with a new album, a live-stream deal with Netflix Inc. — and a world tour that could rival Taylor Swift’s record-breaking $2 billion Eras Tour in earnings.

Some 260,000 fans are expected to head to Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square for the free “BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang” show on March 21. Set against the backdrop of the 14th-century Gyeongbok Palace and modern glass towers, the performance marks the band’s first full-group appearance since members stepped back in 2022 to complete their military service. A new album, Arirang, drops the day before, marking the start of an 82-date world tour spanning five continents.
