Norway SAS Cuts Flights as Mideast War Pushes Up Fuel Costs

Scandinavia’s biggest airline SAS AB has been forced to cut some flights after the Middle East war prompted a surge in the price of jet fuel.

The airline has decided to make a “limited number of short-term flight cancellations,” it said by email. “The entire European aviation system is now feeling the pressure from a sudden fuel shock.”
