UNC Taps Cleveland Clinic CIO to Steer $14 Billion Endowment

The University of North Carolina’s endowment manager hired Cleveland Clinic Chief Investment Officer Stefan Strein to lead the $14 billion fund.

Strein, who oversaw $33 billion of assets for the Ohio-based health system, will be chief executive officer and chief investment officer of the UNC Management Co., according to a statement Monday.
