Ethiopians Asked to Use Fuel Sparingly as State Uses Reserves

Ethiopia is asking its citizens to be frugal in their use of fuel as the nation struggles to secure sufficient supply from the Middle East.

“Until this situation is resolved and the normal fuel-supply system is restored, it is essential that we save fuel and prioritize its use for basic and essential needs,” Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said in an X post on Monday.
