Mexico held the world’s largest soccer class on Sunday in the main square of its capital as the country prepares to co-host the World Cup in June.

Mexico City’s main square, known as the Zocalo, was transformed into a giant open-air training ground with instructors providing coordinated exercises among the crowd’s 9,500 participants. The Guinness Book of World Records confirmed that the class was larger than the previous world record, held by Seattle last year with 1,038 participants.
