Retail Investors Show First Sign of Buyer Fatigue, JPMorgan Says

US retail investors are taking a step back from their typically strong support for stocks, as the escalation in the Middle East and inflation concerns weigh on the group’s risk appetite.

Weekly purchases by retail investors declined by about 30% following robust demand this year that had defied seasonal patterns, according to a JPMorgan Chase & Co. team led by strategist Arun Jain.
