A landslide in Ethiopia’s southern Gamo region after days of torrential rain led to the deaths of at least 65 people, according to a government agency.
Another 60 people are still missing since the March 10 landslide and flooding across six districts, the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission said in a statement on Friday. Almost 3,500 people are in need of emergency assistance, it said.
