Dutch police arrested four men after an explosive device went off at a Rotterdam synagogue early Friday, the latest in a string of attacks on synagogues in Europe and the US.

The device was detonated around 3:40 a.m. at the synagogue on ABN Davidsplein, the Dutch police force said in a statement. The blast started a brief fire that went out on its own. No one was injured.
