Nvidia Alumni Join AI-Focused Investment Firm Named Era

Two executives from Nvidia Corp. have left the chipmaker to work at a young finance firm that’s quietly investing in artificial intelligence on behalf of some of the world’s richest families.

Geoffrey Levene, Nvidia’s former director of global AI initiatives, and Max Cohen, director of its North American cloud business, have both joined Era, a New York-based investment firm backed by billionaires including Taiwanese businessman Andre Koo Sr.
