Sunday Inc. has raised $165 million to build a dream robot for any household: a friendly looking machine capable of performing tasks like clearing a dinner table, doing laundry and loading a dishwasher.

The company reached a $1.15 billion valuation in the Series B funding round, which was led by Coatue Management. Bain Capital Ventures, Tiger Global, Benchmark and Conviction Partners also participated in the deal.
