Ukraine Central Bank Chief Slams Hungary Over $82 Million Heist

The two armored trucks set off to Kyiv from Austria loaded with $82 million worth of gold and banknotes for their routine run to replenish Ukraine’s war-torn economy. They never arrived. In a daytime heist along a route of about 1,300 kilometers (800 miles), the couriers were beaten and the cargo seized.
