Fertilizer manufacturers in the Middle East are continuing to load product onto ships to prevent storage capacity from overflowing.

The Iran war has disrupted flows from some of the world’s largest fertilizer plants as movement through the Strait of Hormuz — which handles about one-third of the global fertilizer trade — remains effectively halted.
