Colombia Sees Smaller Deficit, Omits Bond Sales in 2026 Plan

Colombia’s finance ministry forecast a smaller fiscal deficit this year due to lower spending and debt service costs.

The deficit will narrow to 5.1% of gross domestic product this year, from 6.4% in 2025, according to the ministry’s presentation posted on its website.
