Ex-Odey CEO Calls Fund Founder a ‘Sociopath’ and ‘Sex Pest’

The former CEO of Crispin Odey’s asset management business told UK regulators in an interview that he realized “too late” that the former hedge fund boss was a “sex pest.”

At the start of a three week trial where Odey is challenging a lifetime ban over his “reckless disregard” for governance, the Financial Conduct Authority highlighted a series of allegations of inappropriate conduct against Odey. Lawyers for the regulator disclosed how former executives at Odey Asset Management struggled with disciplinary processes at the firm when they confronted him.
