Germany Helps Secure Scarce Air-Defense Missiles for Ukraine
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has persuaded several European partners including the Netherlands to club together to provide around 30 PAC-3 guided missiles for Ukraine’s Patriot air-defense systems.
Together with five additional units from the German armed forces, roughly 35 interceptor missiles will be delivered to Ukraine as soon as possible to bolster dwindling stocks, according to people familiar with the planning, who asked not to be identified discussing confidential information.
