With the 10-day war roiling oil markets and threatening Republican chances in November’s midterm elections, Trump offered his strongest signal yet on Monday that he’s preparing to de-escalate. His military objectives were “pretty well complete,” Trump said, adding that the conflict would end “very soon.”
