FTSE 100 Boards Hit Record for Ethnic Minority Representation
The proportion of ethnic minority board members at Britain’s largest listed companies reached a record in 2025, a government-backed study found, though progress on diversity lagged among private companies.
All but two companies in the UK’s benchmark FTSE 100 Index had at least one ethnic minority board member last year, according to the latest report by the Parker Review, a business-led initiative to boost ethnic diversity on leadership teams. Ethnic minorities hold 20% of all directorships, an up-tick from 2024.
