Madagascar Leader Dissolves Government, New Premier to Be Named

Photographer: Luis Tato/Getty ImagesMadagascar’s military ruler Michael Randrianirina has dissolved the government and will appoint a new prime minister in the coming days in accordance with the country’s laws, the presidency said in a statement Monday.
Secretaries-general of the nation’s ministries will continue to manage routine government affairs until a new prime minister is appointed and a new cabinet is formed, it said, without providing reasons for the dissolution.
