Man Associated With Banco Master’s Ex-CEO Has Died, Lawyer Says

A man whom investigators say is associated with Banco Master SA’s former Chief Executive Officer Daniel Vorcaro has died while in police custody, days after attempting suicide, his defense attorney said.

The death of Luiz Phillipi Machado de Moraes Mourão, known in the investigation as “Sicario,” was declared at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, according to a statement.
