Putin Urges End to Hostilities in Call With Iran’s Pezeshkian

Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need for an immediate halt to hostilities in the Middle East during a phone call Friday with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, according to the state-run Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.
During the call, Putin offered his condolences over the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, the report said.
