The proposed overhaul at the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA, was presented in a list of “strategic priorities” circulated to some employees and reviewed by Bloomberg News. The materials outline senior leaders’ vision for an agency grappling with morale concerns and a reduced workforce after departures during President Donald Trump’s first year back in office. Remaining staff are bracing for potential cuts as the appropriations process is expected to begin this spring.
