German defense giant Rheinmetall AG signed a contract to acquire a majority stake in Croatia’s Dok-Ing d.o.o., the world’s largest producer of uncrewed mine-clearing vehicles.

Rheinmetall will buy a 51%-stake of the Zagreb-based company, while founder Vjekoslav Majetic will retain the rest, Bjoern Bernhard, the German company’s head of vehicle systems in Europe, said in a joint press conference with Majetic on Wednesday. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
