Ghana 5G Platform Goes Live in Push for 70% Reach Within a Year

Ghana has brought its first 5G network online in selected cities, paving the way for mobile operators to begin offering ultra-fast wireless services.

Next Gen InfraCo, a shared network operator set up in 2024, holds exclusive rights to provide 5G services in the West African nation. The company has received regulatory clearance to launch in parts of the capital, Accra, as well as in Kumasi and Tamale, it said in a statement Tuesday.
