Dassault Deepens Rift With Airbus Over Fighter-Jet Gone Awry

Dassault Aviation SA Chief Executive Eric Trappier doubled down in his criticism of Airbus SE and their troubled partnership to build a next-generation fighter jet, casting more doubt on Europe’s most ambitions defense project just as the region seeks to rearm.

Speaking in Paris to discuss the company’s earnings, Trappier said Airbus has “made it clear it doesn’t want to work with us,” and he opposed the idea of the companies splitting their efforts.
