Food price inflation in the UK rebounded last month as shoppers splashed out on pricier meal deals for at-home celebrations.

Grocery inflation rose to 4.3% in February, Worldpanel by Numerator said in a report Tuesday. That was up from 4% a month earlier, which was the lowest since April 2025. Consumers spent £39 million ($52 million) on premium dine-in meals in the week of Valentine’s Day, seven times higher than the week before.
