NYC’s Free 2-Year-Old Care to Start in Upper Manhattan, Bronx

The program, which will be paid for with state funds, will provide 2,000 free seats for 2-year-old children starting in September to several school districts of varying income levels. They include Washington Heights in Manhattan, Fordham in the Bronx, Brownsville in Brooklyn as well as the Rockaways in Queens.
