A top executive at South Korea’s biggest arms-maker by revenue made a clear case for the company’s deepening foray into the Middle East: Threats abound.

“They have challenges from a 360-degree angle,” Hanwha Aerospace Co.’s Michael Coulter told Bloomberg News last year about discussions with representatives from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He said both countries are “a main focus of ours right now.”
