Greggs Profit Drops With UK Baker’s Sales Slowing in Early 2026

Pretax dropped 18% to £167 million ($223 million) when including a restatement of value-added tax, it said Tuesday. Like-for-like sales in the first nine weeks of 2026 rose 1.6%, a slowdown from last year.
