Aluminum and Iron Get Added to Ontario’s Critical Minerals List

Aluminum and high-purity iron were added to the list of critical minerals identified by Canada’s most populous province, a move that will boost projects tied to those metals.

“Ontario is signaling to the world that it is a premier jurisdiction for investment in the exploration and processing of materials vital to advanced manufacturing,” the provincial government said in a Tuesday statement.
