Turkey’s Economic Growth Lost Steam at the End of 2025
Turkey’s economic growth slowed in the fourth quarter compared to the previous three months, as policymakers maintained a tight stance to curb double-digit inflation.
The economy expanded 0.4% from the third quarter in both seasonal- and working-day-adjusted terms, according to data published on Monday by the Turkish Statistical Institute. That compares to 1% growth in the previous three months and is in line with the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey of economists.
