A senior Senate Democrat said Donald Trump’s rationale for the US-Israeli attack on Iran isn’t convincing and the US president owes an explanation to the families of American service members killed in action.

“What I know as a member of the gang of eight on the Intelligence Committee, that there was no imminent threat to America,” Mark Warner, the Senate Intelligence Committee’s top Democrat, said Sunday on Bloomberg This Weekend. He was referring to the group of congressional leaders who are briefed on classified US intelligence.
