Merz Voices Concerns About Iran Attacks Before Washington Visit

While expressing “relief” at the prospect of a potential collapse of the mullah regime in Iran, Merz cautioned that it’s unclear whether the conflict can be contained. Speaking in Berlin on Sunday, he also drew parallels between Iran and Russia as US President Donald Trump pursues peace efforts in both situations.
