Trump Plays Coy on Endorsement in Bruising Texas Senate Primary

President Donald Trump indicated he had decided whom to endorse in a fractious Republican Senate primary in Texas — but declined to reveal his pick at an event in the state Friday attended by all three candidates.

Asked if he had made up his mind, Trump told reporters “pretty much, yeah,” as he visited Corpus Christi to highlight energy policy and tout his economic agenda. But in a subsequent address, Trump offered praise to all three candidates without making his pick clear.
