South Africa Initiates Probe of Iran Naval-Drill Participation

South Africa’s president instituted an investigation into Iran’s participation in naval exercises off the coast of Cape Town last month.

Justice Bernard Makgabo Ngoepe will head a four-person panel that will report directly to President Cyril Ramaphosa on its findings, the presidency said in a statement on Thursday evening.
