Hedge Fund Taula Hires Seven-Person Trading Team From Millennium

Diego Megia has snapped up a seven-person trading team from its biggest backer Millennium Management to join his hedge fund Taula Capital Management, according to people familiar with the matter.

The so-called pod of traders — led by Greg Knight and based out of the low-tax territory of Jersey in the Channel Islands — focuses mostly on FX and also trades interest rates, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing non-public information. The hires were made with the blessing of Millennium, one of the people said.
