Delta Air Lines Orders Another 34 Airbus Jets to Drive Growth

Delta Air Lines Inc. announced an order for 34 Airbus SE jets, its third aircraft order in less than six weeks, as the airline looks to cement its lead in the US aviation industry.

Atlanta-based Delta exercised options to purchase an additional 34 Airbus A321neo jets which the airline said were part of a broader effort to modernize its fleet, according to a Friday statement. The latest order will be delivered from 2029, it said.
