United Parks and Resorts Inc. reported earnings and sales that trailed analyst estimates as the theme park operator struggled with dwindling attendance, especially from international park goers.

The Orlando, Florida-based operator of SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Sesame Place parks said in a Thursday statementBloomberg Terminal that its fourth quarter earnings per share were 28 cents. Profit was impacted in part by a loss from a write-off of debt issuance costs and discounts, the company said. Analysts estimated 56 cents.
