Philippine retailer Stores Specialists, Inc. will cease its operations of Marks & Spencer in the country after nearly 40 years, according to the local franchise holder.
Marks & Spencer is not exiting the Philippines, and will shift to a new franchise partner after its contract with SSI ends in May, a spokesperson for the British retailer said in a statement. “We remain committed to the Philippines and the growth opportunity in the region,” they said.
