Bank of Korea Adopts Fed-Inspired Dot Plot for Rates Outlook
The Bank of Korea will start releasing the policy board’s median projection of where the base rate will be six months hence on Thursday, moving away from its current system of providing three-month quantitative rate guidance.
The new so-called dot-plot chart will be published four times a year when the central bank releases its growth and inflation outlooks in the months of February, May, August and November, the BOK said in a statement Thursday.
