UK Student Landlord Unite Slumps on Weaker Bookings
Unite Group Plc plunged the most in more than four months after the UK student housing landlord’s full-year results showed a protracted slump in demand from international applicants.
The company said it had sold 95.2% of beds for the next academic year as of the end of December, compared with 97.5% a year earlier, according to a statement Tuesday. It said 68% of beds had been reserved for 2026/2027, down from 71% and 79%, respectively, at the end of the previous two years.
