Norway Trade Minister Signals Draft US Tariff Deal Remains Alive
Norway’s trade minister indicated the nation isn’t walking away from a draft tariff deal with the US, negotiated last summer, even as President Donald Trump’s policy moves add uncertainty.
“We need to keep a cool head because what we have learned is that things change quickly,” Cecilie Myrseth, who oversees both trade and industry portfolios, said in an interview in Oslo on Tuesday. The Nordic nation isn’t part of the European Union but has access to the single market.
