Australian Real Estate Firms Buoyed by Staff Returning to Office

Office landlords in Australia’s two biggest cities stand to gain as workers return to the office more often than required, according to Bloomberg Intelligence.

More than 80% of workers in Sydney and Melbourne are in the office at least three days a week, about five percentage points higher than mandated levels, based on a BI survey of 300 people in each city. Workers pointed to opportunities for collaboration, along with upgraded office amenities like gyms and cafes as key incentives.
