A Turkish court adjourned to April 1 the trial of jailed Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu and several others over alleged irregularities at the main opposition party’s 2023 congress.

The court in Ankara decided to ask an Istanbul court for its opinion on a possible consolidation of the case with an ongoing corruption case against Imamoglu and his staff, the Cumhuriyet newspaper reported.
