Air France-KLM Jumps After Upbeat Transatlantic Forecast
Air France-KLM shares rose the most since April after the carrier reported better-than-expected earnings in the fourth quarter and said it remained upbeat about lucrative North Atlantic routes despite heightened geopolitical tensions.
The stock jumped as much as 14%, the most in intraday trading since April 10, after the company exceeded €2 billion ($2.4 billion) in annual operating profit for the first time — a €400 million increase from the year before. Shares are up more than 50% in the past 12 months.
