Turkish Club Galatasaray’s Shares Soar After Win Over Juventus

Turkish football giant Galatasaray’s shares rose as much as 4.8% on Wednesday morning after the club’s victory over Italian heavyweight Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.
Shares of Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS, as the sports club is officially known, were trading 3.2% higher at 1.28 liras as of 10:58 a.m. in Istanbul. The trading volume was eight times the average daily figure for this time of day.
