Kazakhstan Unable to Switch From CPC Oil Pipe, January Data Show

Kazakhstan was able to divert only a small fraction of the crude it could not ship through the CPC pipeline to the Black Sea in January, contributing to a sharp drop in production.

Exports on routes other than CPC rose by about 25,000 barrels a day in January compared with November, representing just 6% of the drop in flows along the pipeline route over the same period.
