Grain Prices Lower as Asia’s Lunar New Year Keeps Trading Thin

Grain futures were lower Tuesday as markets reopened from a long weekend in the US and Asia’s Lunar New Year helped mute trading.

“The Lunar New Year across China and Southeast Asia is limiting fresh export demand,” AgResource Co. said in a note. The US Department of Agriculture reported no new flash export sales.
