Svantesson Doesn’t See Sweden in Euro in Next Couple of Years

Sweden won’t be joining the euro in the near future even as a debate on the merits of such a move is gathering pace, according to Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson.

Asked about the timeline of potentially adopting the single currency, Svantesson told reporters in Brussels that her expectation is “not the next couple of years.”
